Dukkah - have you tried this? Guaranteed to spice up your evening

This is so delicious and such an easy dip to make.  It is traditionally Egyptian and the word Dukkah means to pound.

Here is how to make it :

1 heaped tbsp Pistachios
1 heaped tbsp Hazlenuts
1 tablespoon whole dried coriander seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon dried peppercorns
½ teaspoon dried orange peel
½ teaspoon dried coriander
½ teaspoon salt

greek yogurt
olive oil
squeeze of lemon
pinch of salt

In a frying pan toast the nuts then add the seeds, peppercorns and orange peel, once cooled put in a pestle & mortar and grind or blitz in a blender and add the salt and coriander.  Next mix some greek yoghurt with lemon juice to taste and a pinch of salt.  Scatter the Dukkah on top and drizzle with olive oil - you will love it especially if you dip our Teff Crackers in it;  and it is so fresh and summery.  If Summer ever comes!
